We made it to the Czech Republic after a 13 hour bus ride (thanks to our drivers who got lost on the way into town and drove in circles for 2 hours)!
For this trip we are just going to just give the highlights - there really isn't much to say here because the pictures say everything. CZECH IT OUT....

This is our amazing hostel that we stayed at- the Czech Inn. It had the best all you can eat breakfast... that we took full advantage of . We also took full advantage of the shopping at our hostel and each bought a pair of matching black Toms shoes!
This begins our walking tour of Prague. We had a hilarious tour guide who walked us around Prague for 3 hours with a convenient 45 minute break at the "Fat Abbey Bar" where we HAD to try the Gambrinus local beer. We saw so many places that we can't add all the pictures without this looking like a picture book. We also toured the Jewish synagogue, a beer factory where the taps were at the tables and ended the night with a crazy pub crawl.

The Prague Astronomical Clock or Prague Orloj. The Orloj has of three main components: the astronomical dial, representing the position of the Sun and Moon in the sky and displaying various astronomical details; "The Walk of the Apostles", a clockwork hourly show of figures of the Apostles and other moving sculptures; and a calendar dial with medallions representing the months.

The famous old town square. It resembled something like a renaissance fair- amazing food everywhere, welders, and delicious authentic pastries !!

This is in Prague Castle- the beautiful church

The changing of the guards in Prague Castle. It happens every hour and is on Castle Hill. It was packed of tourists trying to watch, somehow we found our way to the front and snapped a great picture- please note the stone cold faces. No smiles here...no matter how hard you try to get them to!
-Starting a new tradition- Married Couple traveling the world
This is the John Lennon wall.We could have looked at it for hours. Since the 1980s it has been filled with John Lennon-inspired graffiti and pieces of lyrics from Beatles songs. Apparently, today, the wall symbolizes youth ideals of love and peace
-This is the gate of locks or called "love locks"- It is a place where "lovers" come and engrave a lock with their names on them, inferring that their love will last forever or eternal devotion. After they lock it, they throw the key in the canal. This is common here because Prague is labeled as such a "fairytale" city. A place to fall in love.
Lunch in Old town square- Had famous DELICIOUS kabobs!!

After a long eventful weekend in Prague we snuggled up together for the bus-ride home. Maggie pushing Sara up against the window... naturally
We passed through Austria and Germany on the way home to Italy!
